All good things are wild & free

I made a quick card to submit into the Freshly Made Sketch challenge # 625. I enjoy joining in on the challenges. They are a great way to get out of a rut. The butterfly paper is from a Recollections collection. The die is from Sizzix Butterfly borders.

A Valentine's challenge 2024

Handmade by Tanya R.

 Hello everyone,

It's been another snowy day here on the West coast, so I took some time to enjoy working in my craft room.  I just completed a difficult year-end at work, so making a card clears my head and brings me joy. I decided to follow the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #619, and then saw the color challenge from The Color Throwdown challenge #776. My third challenge is from Tic Tac Toe challenge blog # 239 with the top row across: Heart, embellishment, and Pink.

Thanks for stopping by. I know I haven't posted on here for quite awhile because I have been using my Instagram (t.made.gallery) as well to post.

Beach time Hello

 Hi everyone,

I made this quick card to play with a few challenges.  The paper is from Dollarama. The stickers were travel stickers from a scrapbooking set that I had in my stash.  I layered the die-cut three times to make it pop out a little more. The challenges are:

Memories Tic Tac Toe challenge: Bucket, Item found at Beach, Bird(s)

Memories Tic Tac Toe

 Hello all,

I have returned with a card I specifically made for a tic tac toe challenge at Memories and More.  I used the three squares: pencil, cartoon print, and metal item.  The Peanuts cartoon came from my desk calendar at work.  I have some "school" papers that I cut for the pencil, and the baseball is a metal brad.  I hope to have more cards to show soon. Thanks for stopping by today!

New sketch challenge

 Hi everyone,

I know it has been a long time since I posted.  I have been posting more on my instagram feed, t.made.gallery, more out of convenience than anything else. I have still been creating, although, not as much. Life certainly has changed since my last post here.

I have been working on Christmas cards, and wanted to try this sketch at Freshly Made Sketches:

Here is my card for the current challenge #564:

Hopefully, you will see me more often here or on instagram.  Take care, and thanks for stopping by.

Bugaboo chocolate fantasy

Hello friends,

How is everyone these days?  I hope you are well and healthy. I have to admit, I haven't been as creative the last little while as work as been very busy, so today is a mental health day for me. I got to enjoy that chocolate fantasy this morning when no alarm was going off. This image is another from Bugaboo digital stamps. I just love her images. I was disappointed when I found out the new printer I bought is not designed for cardstock, so I had some struggles until I figured it out. I am so glad it worked because I don't know what I would do without my bugaboo images. This image came at the perfect time for my co-worker's birthday, as she is as big a chocolate fan as I am. It is so perfect for her. I also used the bugaboo sketch challenge #817

I would also like to add this to the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today.

A bear birthday

Hello all,

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
I have another post today for the Bugaboo Catch the Bug Challenge - Bear with Me. Who doesn't need a cute birthday bear greeting?  I coloured the image using a combination of Copics and Tria markers. I like doing the fine details with the old style Tria markers because they have a fine point. I had the ribbon in my scraps, and the paper is from DCWV.
I am also submitting this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge blog #580 - I spy something with a "B". (bear, balloon, box)
Dream Valley Challenges - All occasions
Mojo Monday - sketch 541.
I wish everyone a good day.  Thanks for stopping by.
